Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote in Something Left Undone:

Labor with what zeal we will,
    Something still remains undone,
    Something uncompleted still
Waits the rising of the sun.

To many of us in Cordula’s Web Team, this Something was establishing a blog. We’ve planned to set it up for a long time, and it had to be postponed again and again for all kinds of reasons, some silly, some reasonable, but above all, too numerous to explain. The idea lived on, haunting us repeatedly. Did Longfellow anticipate our plight?

So here we are at last, ready to go. Let’s see what dreams may come.

Congrats to the team for the new blog.

A propos “What Dreams May Come”: anyone saw the movie with Robin Williams, or read the book? It’s an amazing, very emotional story.

I saw the film a few years ago. Couldn’t stop crying.

  • John Little Says:

I saw it too. Great movie. Why did you mention it here?

  • Morpheus Says:

This is one of my favorite movies. I saw it in the midst of a big depression and personal tragedy, and it reflected my mood perfectly. Perhaps it is a tad too colorful for my taste (I’d rather have a more subdued green-blueish ambiance), but the plot was so emotional and heart-wrenching, it more than made up for it.

BTW, shortly after watching the movie, I read the book. Both are very different, and I kind of liked the book more. But I guess it’s a matter of personal taste and feelings.

Whatever: both are highly recommended if you feel down and grieving. An excellent companion to Cordula’s Web.

John, Morpheus sent me the DVD a while ago, and I really loved the gloomy atmosphere. IMHO, it is a perfect fit for Cordula’s Web.
