An old book to borrow or buy
The ones on cricket caught his eye,
The memories of sport he once wrote
Then wrapped with a bottle and sarcastic note.

Even when low we lose our heading
It never stopped him from missing our wedding,
Fortune and fame he never wanted much
A walk, a smile, wild flowers to touch.

The quiz master he was the one to know
The Air Force Club the place to go,
Head on winning popularity grew
There wasn't much he never knew.

So keep a bottle on the shelf,
There you go again always thinking of yourself,
Drink your fine Scotch, a malt or two
The memories of Geoff will stick like glue.
